Job Description

The Department of Communication, Languages, and Cultures at Fayetteville State University seeks a Fixed-Term faculty member starting in Fall 2025. The role involves teaching general education courses in public speaking and core and elective courses within the Communication and Media Studies program. Applicants with expertise in sports broadcasting or sports journalism will be given priority.

Job Requirements

An MA, MFA, or PhD in Communication/Media Studies or a related field from an accredited institution with graduate coursework and experience in the area of expertise is the minimum qualification for this position.

Preferences will be given to those with degrees specializing in Sports Journalism or Sports Broadcasting.

Previous experience in eSports is strongly recommended.
