Job Responsibilities:
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Mass Comm; mentors students and junior faculty. 40%
Takes an active role in building the school's graduate program, including a new online MA program in military public communication.
Takes an active role in activities of the school's Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs. 30%
Assists with outside contacts for the school. 20%
Serves on school and university committees. 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mass Communication, Economic, Marketing, Business, Political Science, Sociology, History, or related field with 8 years of experience.
Specific Experience: Distinguished research record or distinguished record of professional service/ or both
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific Experience: History of attracting grants or contracts a plus, but not required
